My music journey started at the ripe age of five when I snuck out of bed to watch my dads VHS of the "Pink Floyd's Pulse Tour". The sounds from "Time" absolutely amazed me and from then on I was hooked. I grew up with so many different influences and genres, they have all meshed and molded who I am today. Some of my biggest influences are Sheryl Crow, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Aerosmith, No Doubt, Sublime, Beatles, Wallows, Daniel Nunnelee, Briston Maroney and more.
4 Non Blondes was a big musical influence for me in middle school I loved the sounds they created so much that "whats up" was one of the first songs I learned on guitar. 4 Non Blondes hit the scene in 1992 with the release if their debut album "Bigger, Better, Faster, More!" and by 1993 the lead single of the album "Whats Up" was on top of the charts. With the unique guitar stylings of both Shaunnh Hall and Roger Rocka as well as the piercing vocals of Linda perry, make the song an iconic track that still plays in bars, malls, and radio today!
